Transforming Abandoned Scraps into Delicate Plants
Not too long ago we talked about an artist who helps make a rusty city come alive through "eye-bombing". You know the saying, "One mans trash is another mans treasure" Sometimes, however, that trash needs a little tweaking or transforming before it is considered a treasure. For instance, Artist Dan Rawlings uses abandoned scrap metal, such as abandoned cars and old street signs to create beautiful and delicate plants. The pieces are somewhat ironic as he is taking something that is not so natural and transforming it into something that represents the true essence of nature. The pieces are very intricate and detailed and one can't help but stare in awe at these impressive works of art. Check out some of Dan Rawlings work below!
