Today is 2/24, and Kobe Bryant's memorial service was held today at the Staple Center. Although his tragic passing happened almost a month ago, emotions were still high. It was a packed house as NBA players, celebrities, fans, friends, and family gathered to pay their respects for Kobe. Closed loved ones took the stage to share their fondest memories of Kobe Bryant. From the words of his family and friends, it echoed what most of us already knew; Kobe was a determined, motivated, and loving person. After his retirement from the NBA, he spent his time coaching and spending time with his family. His love for the game never died, and most importantly he left a mark on anyone who he came in contact with.
