These Skateboards and Sunglasses are Made From Discarded Fishing Nets
Discarded fishing nets represent about 10 percent of all ocean plastic waste. This may seem like a small percentage, but when you think about how much plastic waste is discarded, thats a lot of nets that animals can get tangled in or die from ingesting. Bureo is looking to help get rid of this waste and make some great products while doing it. They collect these discarded fishing nets and melt them down. From there, they make fishnet formula pellets that can then be molded into the skateboards and sunglasses that you see on their shop.
