Theres a certain beauty in creating sand castles or sculptures made from sand. The not-so-permanent sculptures can easily be washed away or destroyed despite holding together so well with the consistency of the sand. In Denmark, as part of the
Søndervig Sand Sculpture Festival, participants were invited to create their own sand sculptures with the theme of aquatic life. The results were extremely impressive. The participants created massive sculptures that reached heights up to 7 meters tall. The theme "Life under the sea" brought out extraordinary imagery of sharks, orcas, octopuses and more. Check out some of the jaw-dropping sculptures below! Let's just hope these impressive sculptures were crafted far from the shore so they couldn't be washed away easily.
