"Smart surface" may be a foreign term to hear, but soon it will be a little more familiar. The people at Knocki have developed a product that can turn a surface into an interactive smart surface. When active, the Knocki device can detect taps on the surface and allow you to turn on certain devices such as speakers, lights, computers, and TV's. Knocki is basically a super advanced version of "clap-on" lights. Check out the video below to see Knocki in action. Will this be the future of device interaction? Time will tell.
