Jay Williams is a former NBA basketball player who's career was tragically brought to a halt do to a motorcycle accident. He played basketball in the era of the championship Lakers and describes a situation where he showed up early to a game one time to work out before both teams got to the arena. To his surprise, Kobe Bryant was already there working out. He goes on to describe the situation as a learning experience and a situation that speaks highly of Kobe's work ethic.
