Gabrielle Thomas Breaks NCAA Indoor 200m Record

 The 10 year old record for the NCAA Indoor 200m was set in 2008 by Bianca Knight.  Knight ran the 200m in an impressive 22.40 seconds.  A few days ago a new record was set by Gabrielle Thomas, a Harvard Junior, in the Section 2 final.  Gabrielle set the new time at an astonishing 22.3 seconds. Among this feat, Gabrielle became the first Ivy League women's sprinter to win an indoor national championship, and only the fourth Harvard runner to win a national indoor championship.
