The new wave in the technology world is automated and assistive technology. With systems such as Siri, Alexa, and Bixby, you can accomplish small tasks just by asking a question or stating a command. It seems as if the next logical step to this technology is putting "a face" to these robotic assistants. Humanoid Robots have been portrayed in movies and TV countless times, but it seems that they are getting closer to becoming a reality. In fact, many prototypes have been made and are in development. Humanoid robots could be beneficial at kiosks for hospitals, malls, and any place where customer service information could be required.
