Hoverboards: A Trend So Hot It's Literally Catching Fire

For the past year, we've seen hoverboards take over the world.  These 2 wheeled monsters have found there way into thousands of homes and streets across the world.  In recent news however, the U.S. government has deemed any hoverboard on the market to be unsafe. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has been doing much investigation on the safety hazards that hoverboads pose. After its months-long investigation, the CPSC sent out an official notice to manufacturers, retailers, and importers with new hoverboard safety standards.

In January, New York officially made hoverboards illegal in the state and there have been numerous videos on the internet of these gadgets catching on fire. Numerous schools and malls have also banned the use of them . This crazed gadget isn't as cool as it appears. If you have one, you might want to get rid of it soon, or until the U.S. government actually says they're safe.
