Sustainable Sunday: The Apparel-Mending Mission

 
Since 2013, the garment repair company -- Patagonia has campaigned its Work Wear program as a way to encourage people to keep their clothing in circulation longer and out of landfills. Earlier this month, April 2, the Worn Wear Mobile Tour got started in Ventura, California. Throughout this cross-country road trip, the Patagonia team will travel in their Dodge pickup truck fueled with biodiesel with the aim to spread a message of conscious consumerism relating to fashion. They will be making stops at retail locations, coffee shops, farmers markets and trailheads to offer free apparel mending services and seminars. Check out the video below for more information:
