Sustainable Sunday: Earth Hour Highlights

This year, Earth Hour was celebrated in 172 countries, with over 1400 landmarks switching off lights on the 28th of March between 8:30 and 9:30 PM EST. Did you remember to celebrate?

To promote sustainable use in honor of Earth Hour, Environmental charity, Do The Green Thing, teamed up with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-UK) to launch -- the Everyday Things collection. As a part of their campaign, they asked 15 artists around the world to take something that already exist, repurpose it and give it a new light. Check out some of the visuals below to see what they came up with:

If you missed Earth Hour this year, don't miss your opportunity to take action and go beyond the hour this month on Earth Day, April 22. We must unite to light the way towards climate action.
