11-Year-Old Conducts a 75 Piece Symphony

Over the years we've seen young people do some pretty astonishing things.  It's always impressive to see kids perform a talent at an adult level.  From sports to music, some kids are just naturally talented and ambitious.  Matthew Smith, for example, just recently became the youngest kid to conduct a symphony composed of 75 musicians! His inspiration? A video he saw of an even younger kid conducting a symphony! Matthew Smith is a Grade 5 standard violinist and also plays the guitar, drums, piano and viola.  He decided he wanted to see what it was like to put the instruments down and pick up the baton.  While he still has a ways to go, his ambition and determination are sure to help him reach the sky and beyond.  Matthew is definitely Cut From A Different Cloth!  Watch him in action below for some Monday Motivation!
