Yellowstone is Now Using Recycled Tires as Concrete

Yellowstone is a national park that is over 3,000 square miles and is home to many animals, geysers, and mountains.  The eco-system is very delicate at Yellowstone and they want to make sure to preserve it.  The cycling of water is an important aspect to this eco-system and in order to maintain that they have developed a new concrete.  The "thirsty" concrete, called Flexi-pave, can absorb around 50 gallons of water per minute!  On top of that, the mix is composed of recycled tires as well as other materials.  Check out the short video below to learn more about this new decision from Yellowstone and Michelin Tires.
