Towards the end of last year, we posted about Gucci's decision to go fur-free in 2018. Well, it seems another high-end fashion brand has decided to go fur-free also. Donatella Versace was quoted saying "Fur, I am out of that"... "I don't want to kill animals to make fashion. It doesn't feel right." Although on the Versace website fur items are still offered, judging by Donatella Versace's words, future production of items will no longer include animal fur. The fact that two big names like Gucci and Versace are taking this stance means a lot. It will be interesting to see which other brands will decide to take a stand against using animal fur. Time will tell!
