Thousands of Origami Birds Comprise Paris' Largest Urban Mural

French street artist Mademoiselle Maurice just made history in Paris by creating the largest urban mural that the capital has ever seen.  The mural, created in collaboration with Mathgoth Gallery, is comprised of thousands of colorful origami birds.  The mural was created on a building set for demolition; Mademoiselle covered the front of the building with 500 liters of black paint before applying the colorful birds.  The full mural, entitled The Lunar Cycle, represents the process of change and is sort of a symbol of hope for the residents of the building.  One thing for sure is that it's definitely an eye-catching piece of art.  Check out some images of the masterpiece below!
