This Amazing Artist Transforms Piles of Wood into Huge Sculptures

If you were walking down the street and saw a pile of wood, what would your first thought be?  Would you see it as junk or see its reusable potential.  Thomas Dambo definitely sees the reusable potential in wood and is focused on helping to reduce waste by reusing "trash".

Thomas spends a lot of his time collecting scrap wood in his home city of Copenhagen in Denmark.  Him and his team then go ahead and use all the scrap wood to create huge sculptures.  Most of the designs are named after volunteers who helped out in the process. These sculptures are a fun way to recycle wood and the finished work looks very impressive. See for yourself below! And make sure to check out Thomas Dambo's other work HERE!
