This 3D-Printed Bio-Wall Has Its Own Irrigation System

3D-printing has proved to be an effective and efficient method when it comes to design. Almost anything can be created through the process of 3d-printing.  NOWLAB has understood the power of 3D printing since 2014 and their most recent creation harnesses 3D printing to create a piece of sustainable architecture.  Their creation is a 3D printed Bio-Wall that holds plants and even has its own irrigation system.  The "Green Wall" has embedded channels and a micro shower system. The system sprinkles each plant with the perfect amount of water that they need to survive. NOWLAB hopes that their efforts with this innovative bio-wall will inspire other architects to build more sustainably for a greener future. Check out the bio-wall up close and personal in the video below!
