For years people have been going to gyms and monitoring how many calories they are burning. This is usually done with a small digital display that is on treadmills, ellipticals, and bicycles. Imagine a simpler approach to this that doesn't require a digital display. Well A2Office is bringing this concept to stairs. They are adding small graphics to stairs that tell you on each step how many calories you have burned. Of course the increments go up by only fraction of a calorie on each step so it would take multiple steps to burn off your first calorie. A2Office is working on these newly designed stairs in Portugal but would you love to see these stairs make their way to offices and schools around the world?
