Today marks 16 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center. Since 9/11/01, many memorials have been erected and the American people have never forgotten those who lost their lives. One such memorial is actually a natural one. It is a tree that represents resilience and hope. What is so special about this tree is that it actually survived 9/11. After the attacks, it was found amongst the rubble with one branch still blooming with leaves. From there, it was rescued and bought to a different site, where it was nurtured and supported.
