Pusha T Performs at a California Prison

Pusha T has been making plenty of headlines lately as he has been dropping consistent music, has been very active in the fashion industry, and was named president of G.O.O.D. music.  His latest headline is definitely a shocker; he recently performed at Calipatria State Prison.  The performance was a part of California state tour #SchoolsNotPrisons.  Pusha T says "Putting an end to mass incarceration is important to me. It’s something I’ve watched destroy a generation of my peers," “I was able to go to Calipatria and see there was still inspiration and hope in the inmates, that was motivation for me to keep fighting for this cause.” The tour is a call to action to reduce the amount of money being spent on incarceration, so that the money can be reallocated for education, health, and prevention.  Although there is no footage of the performance, there is some GOOD music related footage for us to share this week.  Check out FAMU 2016 band performing Kanye's "Father Stretch My Hands".
