Paper Penguins are Popping up Around the World to Protect Antarctica

Global warming and industrial fishing are two major threats to marine life in Antarctica.  In efforts to raise public awareness, German artist Wolfram Kampffmeyer started the "March of the Penguins" as a part of Greenpeace's latest campaign. The March of the Penguins is essentially giant paper penguin structures that have been erected in various cities around the world.  Seoul, Barcelona, New Delhi, London, Sydney, and Washington are just a few cities that the paper penguins have appeared.  The penguins, which usually appear next to some bags or luggage, represent what they might have to do (move away from Antarctica) if global warming and industrial fishing isn't combated. Check out some images below, maybe you will end up seeing one if you are passing through a major city.
