NASA Releases New Stunning Images of Jupiter
Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system and arguably one of the most interesting looking. The JUNO spacecraft that is currently orbiting the planet has performed four full orbits with 29 more to go. The images that it has taken thus far are nothing short of stunning. They show the oval storms that riddle the cloudscape in great detail. The huge planet was captured by JUNO and the images were then enhanced by citizen scientist Gabriel Fiset using data from the JunoCam instrument. Check out some of the stunning images below of our solar system's giant planet. In semi-related news astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson made an appearance on the youtube show 'Hot Ones' and destroyed the challenge, all while explaining that the universe lives in us. Check that footage out below as well.
Do those pics make you feel insignificant in the broad perspective of the universe? Have no fear let Neil reassure your significance.
