We've heard Kanye West's name in the media a lot recently for a variety of things.  First, it was his decision to support Trump.  Next, it was his bold claim that "slavery was a choice".  His latest mentioning in the news was that he has become a devout Christian and even released a Gospel Rap album entitled "Jesus is King". There are some other things about Kanye West however that aren't as publicly popularized. One is that Kanye wants to move into more eco-friendly production practices for his Yeezy brand.  It is part of his move to start production in Wyoming, where he says they are building farms because of the climate and soil.  He said to Zane Lowe in an interview that "We're going to go from seed to sow from the farming table so we can see the entire process". He wants to be able to make his own hydroponic cotton, wheat, and hemp for the Yeezy brand and oversee the process.  The move from fast fashion to this locally-produced method would be a big move for Kanye and his brand and it will be interesting to see how it will play out.  Kanye West is a man of many big ideas and it's going to be interesting to see how his new-found interest in eco-friendly practices will play into his brand. Stay tuned for more news!
