In case you didn't know, style magazine GQ has a freestyle series. Artists such as Drake and Big Sean have even participated in the past. This time, Joey Bada$$ takes a shot at it and kills it. As he raps about some very relevant topics such as freedom and police, GQ adds some small edits to make the footage look a little more music video-ish. Check out the freestyle below as well as Joey Bada$$'s new song "Land of the Free". It seems that Joey is moving more in the direction of conscious rap. What do you guys think?
