The Flint Water Crisis has been going on since 2014 and over 100,000 people have been exposed to drinking water with elevated lead levels. As there has been much outcry from residents and concerns that the government hasn't been helping enough, many celebrities have stepped up to help out and aid in the crisis. The latest celebrity to step up is Jaden Smith. He donated a "Water Box" which essentially is a smaller version of the filters used at the Just Water facilities. The water box filters up to 10 gallons of water per minute. So far the Water Box is being used at the First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where they give clean water to locals. Jaden and the Smith family have committed to purchasing another unit to donate to Flint, Michigan soon!
