When you think of spiders many emotions and thoughts may arise; fear is a big one for many. However, once you get past the fear aspect, you realize spiders are actually very useful and productive creatures. Their ability to weave intricate webs alone is extremely impressive. The Des Moines Art Center recognized this feat and decided to recreate it themselves. They created a huge human-sized spider web exhibit made entirely from tape. The huge exhibit is suspended inside the large concrete building and allows visitors to crawl inside (as long as they aren't wearing shoes). The large web required over 1,000 rolls of tape and countless man hours to create.
