G-Ride: The 1st Eco-Conscious Ride Share Company

Uber and Lyft have changed the transportation industry in a huge way over the past few years.  By conveniently letting you use an app with no actual cash exchange, a ride can be at your front door in a matter of minutes.  G-Ride is a similar ride share company, but with a different mission. The term "G-Ride" has known to be slang for "stolen car", but this G-Ride will be completely different.  G-Ride will only be using eco-friendly cars (electric, Tesla, etc).  In addition, with each ride they will plant a tree. With every 100 rides, they save an acre of rainforest.  One critisicm of Uber is the surge pricing; rates increase when demand goes up.  G-Ride will not be using surge pricing so rates will be pretty steady.  G-Ride is currently running an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for their launch.  Check out the video below to learn a little bit more about their mission!
