On April 13th, Elon Musk tweeted "Yes, excessive automation at Tesla was a mistake. To be precise, my mistake. Humans are underrated." The tweet stemmed from a realization that the automated production of the Tesla Model 3's was going bad. With a couple fatalities associated with the Tesla's auto-pilot mode as well as a failure to meet fulfillment goals, Elon Musk realized it was time to change something. He has decided to replace the robots with humans. This is an interesting decision for tech-savvy Elon Musk, but it goes to show that some things shouldn't be automated. With the new changes, Musk now expects to push 2,000 units a week and continue to increase those numbers throughout the year. The good news in all this is that it will be creating jobs for those who need it!
