A few days ago the FlintSchools twitter account tweeted out "Thank you @elonmusk and @MuskFoundation for investing in the health/future well-being FCS Students! Your generous donation will help us replace ALL water fountains w/NEW WATER STATIONS & WATER FILTRATION at ALL SCHOOLS! Looking forward to our burgeoning partnership! More to come!"
This follows a tweet that Elon Musk made back in July saying he would personally pay to fix water issues in Flint, Michigan. Well, it seems he has stayed true to his word as he has agreed to donate $480,350 to buy and install UV filtration systems in all the Flint school buildings. Elon Musk has been under fire lately on social media, but one thing for sure is that he continues to make a positive impact on the world with technological advancements. It is even more honorable that he has decided to stand up and fill a gap where the government has been lacking.
