Along the same lines as Mass Appeal's "Rhythm Roulette", which has producers sampling three random records that are picked while blindfolded, All Def Music's "The Crate" has producers creating a beat out of mystery objects from a crate. It's almost like the music version of the "Chopped" basket on The Food Network. One of the latest episodes features Busta Rhymes and Terrace Martin (producer of Kendrick's 'King Kunta) creating a beat with objects in the crate. The episode is Doritos sponsored so the crate obviously includes a bag of Doritos Blaze and some other "fire" ingredients. Watch below as they make something from nothing!
