Burger King has announced that it is teaming up with Impossible Foods to bring a plant-based vegetarian burger to 60 locations in the St. Louis area and potentially around the country. Impossible Foods has collaborated with other burger spots such as Carls Jr. and White Castle in the past but it's safe to say that this collaboration with Burger King is the biggest yet. The Impossible Whopper will be the same as a regular Whopper just swapping the burger out with the plant-based patty, it will also likely be around a dollar more expensive. The head of marketing for Burger King, Fernando Machado, said “People on my team who know the Whopper inside and out, they try it and they struggle to differentiate which one is which,” Stay tuned as the impossible whopper may be coming to a Burger King near you!
