Draped in a cop uniform and standing on an empty, slightly lit stage, Big K.R.I.T. delivered an emotional freestyle at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards. The acapella verse was under 2 minutes, but the southern rapper had a lot to say. He spoke on police violence and racial profiling in America, an issue that has been all too prevalent in the U.S. At the end of his passionate verse, he gets a standing ovation and seems like he is on the brink of tears after his emotional words.
