The lead MC of the Roots, Tariq Trotter a.k.a Black Thought, was featured at Harvard's i-lab as part of their Other Side Speaker series. The event combined live performance, celebrity and advice for startups. While at the event, he spoke on topics surrounding the Jimmy Fallon show, ignoring management, and telling the audience to take advantage of any opportunity that comes by them. He then goes into some dope spoken word, which can be seen in the video below. He keeps it real on every topic in his poem and puts it in a way that just flows perfectly. Check it out.
