I stumbled across this very interesting video of a conceptual earthquake bed. Apparently it would detect if an earthquake, eruption, bomb, or some sort of disturbance is happening and seal the sleeping person in a protective vault. Seems like an interesting concept but I can't help but laugh at the video; some of the beds almost look like death traps. Regardless, the models come equipped with water, gas masks, and other supplies that you might need in a dire situation. Check out the video below, do you think its a little over the top?
