Summer is here, and it's only going to get hotter as the days go on.  If you're the average person, you have one thing on your mind during the summer "blasting the AC!".  Well, we here at Superego would like to give you a few easy ways to stay cool and stay eco-friendly, without having to run your air conditioner all day long!

1. Hang blinds and shades: Check out our channel for an exclusive 2016 interview with Mo McRae!By eliminating how much sun is getting into your house/apartment/room you can significantly cool of your living space without wasting electricity!

2. Cool off your Kitchen: When it get's really hot, try to avoid cooking a lot of food.  Instead try making sandwiches and cold pastas.  This will allow you to avoid excess heat coming from your kitchen!

3. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water! Put some water on ice for a refreshing and eco-friendly way to stay cool.

4. Open windows and doors early in the morning: It tends to be much cooler early in the morning during the summer.  A good idea would be to open as many windows and doors as possible during the morning to let cool air get into your home.  When it starts to heat up, you'll have all that cool air trapped.

5. Turn off heat producing devices: TV's, certain lights, and computers are just a few devices that produce excess heat when on.  Make sure you're turning off these heat-producing devices when not in use; you'll also be saving energy!

6. Wear Hemp! :  Hemp fabric is not only durable, but it is an effective insulator (keeping you cool in the summer, and warm in the winter).  Superego hemp shirts are 60% Hemp and 40% Organic Cotton making them very soft and breathable.
