The connection between mankind and other species has always been a fascinating one. Lately however, smartphones and advanced technology has consumed the attention of the average human. One boy, visited Jelani the Gorilla at Louisville zoo to share some pictures of gorillas through his smartphone. The reaction from Jelani is classic; the huge ape watches very attentively as the boy swipes through numerous gorilla pictures. At one point, the gorilla leans against the glass for an even closer look. Fascinating footage, but also a little sad that the only way this enormous ape gets to see other apes is through a phone screen behind a glass.
