Space Jam is a legendary and classic movie starring Michael Jordan. In the movie, MJ finds himself playing on the same basketball team as the Looney Tunes as they play to defeat an evil gang of aliens that have stolen NBA star powers. There have been rumors of a Space Jam 2 coming soon, and now the rumors have been confirmed! Lebron James' media company Springhill Ent. tweeted a teaser photo of the movie yesterday. There are some important things to be taken from the photo; read below for 4 things you need to know about the upcoming film.
1. It will star Lebron James.
The original Space Jam which was released in 1996 starred none other than Michael Jordan, so it only makes sense that the best player in the NBA now (arguably) will be starring in the sequel.
2. The Tune Squad is back.
In the teaser image Bugs Bunny's locker is clearly seen but you can also see markings on the inside of the locker from the other familiar Tune Squad players.
3. Nike will be involved.
Although it not clear yet, Nike will have some sort of involvement in the film. In the image, you can clearly see a pair of Lebron 16's as well as a Nike duffle bag.
4. It will be produced by Ryan Coogler
Ryan Coogler is a producer, director, and screenwriter and is most recently known for directing the blockbuster hit "Black Panther". His name clearly appears in the last locker above the word producer.
