This week's Throwback Thursday kicks back with the 90's era streetwear jeans fad -- Marithé et François Girbaud. Girbaud was an international clothing company based in France, originally founded in 1964 by François and Marithé Girbaud. The brand products were however discontinued by the early 2010s; but not before the MFG jeans 90's takeover.
Cash Money's Hot Boys were big supporters of the jeans during their most active years (1996-2001). Remember when B.G said, "Teeth platinum or gold, everyday dress code: T-shirt, Reeboks, bandanas, and Girbauds." Tune into the song that features the classic line below:
