This week's Tech Tuesday presents Codie, the toy that teaches children the basics of coding. Using the free smart phone app that connects to Codie via Bluetooth, young programmer aspirants can build on their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills by learning programming techniques such as if-else structures, variables and loops. The more complex concepts that are unlocked, the more Codie can do as a toy. The Codie Indiegogo campaign has currently raised about 80% of its $70,000 goal with 18 days left to go. Backer rewards consist of pre-order opportunities at a discount off the proposed retail price.
