The XXL Freshman Cover is something that is highly debated every single year. People go on and on about who deserved to be on the cover and who didn't. This year has been controversial as the cover has featured many artists that aren't too "lyrical". Either way, all of the artists on the cover made it for a reason, whether it be hard work, originality, or straight up talent.
