If you ever tune into the radio, its not hard to hear that the sound of hip-hop has been watered down significantly over the years. Lyrics have become dumbed down, beats have no essence, and lastly there is no message. Messages in hip-hop is something that brought life to the music and culture for years. Rappers were able to affect listeners by simply putting words together with a cause. It seems as though this concept is a lost art; however there is hope! There are a few artists out there that are still keep that culture alive for hip-hop.
