This week's Motivational Monday features Shanell Jones, most commonly known as Lady Luck, and her new web series -- Beyond the Lights. In the year 2000, when she was just 17, Luck signed a five-album record deal with Def Jam on the strength of several freestyles that she did for New York radio station WQHT-FM. Some of you, however, might recognize or remember Lady Luck from her classic battle with Remy Ma about a half-decade ago. Since then, the #CFADC Femcee has maintained prominence in the music industry as a rapper, host and musical powerhouse. In her new series, she goes in depth into the lives of some of the most profound entertainers. This is most inspiring as she provides audience with a deeper perspective of their respective idols.
