Franklin Joseph Lymon was only 25 when he died of a heroin overdose in his grandmother's bathroom. Although his life and career was short-lived, the rock and roll/rhythm and blues singer and songwriter has been of great influence to modern-day music culture. Tune into the video below and check out the 1998 romantic drama 'Why Do Fools Fall in Love' in which the late Lymon is portrayed by the underrated -- Larenz Tate.
