In the wake of the recent non-indictment situations for the killers of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, the country is in shambles. Protesters around the states have gathered in their own form of protest. These situations have brought up past fears of police brutality and irresponsible killings among the black community. It has been great to see certain artists step up and release songs about these injustices, especially in the hip hop community. Here are some below.
It would be awesome to see three of the most popular young thinkers in the rap community to get together and make a song regarding the situations. I would love to hear their viewpoints and thought-provoking lyrics. I'm talking about Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Wale of course. These young poets would definitely make a song that the people would listen to, let's make it happen!
