Although they both stay covered in jewelry and expensive attire, on this song they speak on how the game is deeper than that. They have lost friends, gained enemies, made money, lost money, and still came out on top. Although their record sales may never reflect their success, the two have left a mark on the game that will never be erased. They remind us, the fans, that everything that is shiny is not always what it seems to be.
