Brace yourself for the new wave of technological fashion: clothing can now come alive with augmented reality. This technology captures the world around us via camera and implements virtual content atop so that it looks like its actually there in the physical world. Augmented-reality app specialist Zappar and private-label clothier Hybrid Apparel have a line of T-shirts with Threadless-esque designs that come to life through augmented reality. Check out this cool video to get more of a visual. It's as simple as pulling out the smartphone or tablet, and aiming it at the article of clothing. The application produces a visual by scanning the barcode embedded in the shirt's design; simple concept yet a complex development.
