If you were farming a product, it's somewhat expected you understand the process that the crop will go through and what it will become. Especially if it's a "universal" (or so we thought) product such as chocolate. To our surprise, the cocoa farmers on the Ivory Coast, who sweat and bleed for this crop, have no idea that chocolate even exists. In fact, they thought cocoa was simply used to make wine.
