When you first see the image above, your mind automatically assumes that the matchbox is made from pieces of paper assembled together. Like Biggie asks in One More Chance "Is My Mind Playing Tricks?" and the answer is yes.
Artist Katharine Morling build these common item sculptures out of clay and porcelain, and then outlines the edges with marker in order to sucker all of us. We have to admit that some of these are dope enough to be sold as actual decoration. IKEA where you at? Check the detail out below:
